Design

We specialise in the design and fabrication of small and large steel components and large equipment and structures that are built to withstand tough environments. We design and improve machinery and components that stand up to wear and corrosion.

Manufacturing

With two large workshops, we have high capacity for manufacturing machine components and steel structures, as well as larger machinery and other equipment.

Repair and refurbishment

We recommend repair and refurbishment, as opposed to new production. Our services include, among others, repair of fans, heating furnaces, coal-handling systems and off-gas cleaning systems.

Service and maintenance

LKAB Mekaniska aims to provide the best maintenance services in our sector. We also work with knowledge transfer to give you the same level of service, regardless of which member of our team you meet.

The WRC system

The WRC system is our own patented system for mounting and maintaining wear plate. It consists of a screw with a conical head that forms a virtually flush surface with the plate.
