Gällivare

Gällivare is where our transformation begins, with the construction of a first production plant for carbon dioxide-free sponge iron.

Kiruna

Home to the world’s largest underground mine for iron ore, mining innovation in Konsuln, and Per Geijer, Europe’s largest REE deposit.

Svappavaara

Familiar. Team-focused. Solution-oriented. Innovative. In Svappavaara, we currently extract iron ore in the open-pit mine of Leveäniemi.

Luleå

Luleå is home to both our head office and one of our ports. Here we also plan to build a state-of-the-art industrial park for REE.

Narvik

Narvik is LKAB’s gateway to the world. Here, iron ore transported via the Iron Ore Line and the Ofotbanen railway is loaded for further transport across the globe.
