Your role
As a Seniour Procurement Category Manager you will be responsible for initiation, design, developing, implementing and follow-up strategies within assigned categories. You will proactively unlock category insights that lead to sustainable supply chain, reduced risk and total cost.
In your role you will be responsible for cross-functional category teams as well as establishing and managing relations with internal stakeholders and suppliers. We offer a permanent position in Kiruna, Gällivare, Luleå or Stockholm. Frequent travelling to our mining sites in Kiruna, Malmberget and Svappavaara is a natural part of this position.
In the role you will:
- Together with cross-functional cathegory teams initiate, design, develop, implement and follow-up purchasing strategies and acitivities
- Identify and decrease the cost in value chain
- Monitor and develop current supplier base
- Initiate and follow-up contract and supplier relationship management, risk mitigation and quality improvements
- Identify cost savings through analyzes, sourcing and negotiations and event driven activities to achive assigned cost reduction goals
- Ensure contract terms and follow-up sustainable supply chains
- Establish and manage relations with internal stakeholders and guide them in purchaising processes and strategies
What you bring

We also see that you have:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in economics, technology, logistics, law or other related field
- Several years of experience of strategic procurement and supplier relationship management (SRM) – strategic managing of supplier relationships, mutual co-creation of value, focus on total cost, continuous monitoring of supplier performance, proactive identification and mitigation of risks etc.
- Documented achievements of strategic procurement and SRM
- Excellent written and spoken Swedish and English
- A valid driver’s license (equivalent to Swedish Class B).
- Experience from process and mining industry as well as IFS and Coupa knowledge is an advantage
