Tell us about your job at LKAB Minerals.
“I am responsible for planning and managing the day-to-day activities and production for the site in conjunction with the Works Manager. I also deputise for the Works Manager when this is required. I am a trained electrician, so I also use these skills to assist the electrical and mechanical supervisors where possible.”
How did you end up at LKAB Minerals?
“I worked at the British Steel site next door since completing my apprenticeship. I was looking for a new challenge and when I heard about the vacancy here, I realised it was a great opportunity. I have not looked back since.”
What challenges do you face in your job?
“I am new to this job role, so I face challenges on a regular basis. Every day I learn something new.”
What’s the best part of the job?
“The best part of the job is the team I work with. Whenever we are faced with a challenge you know everyone is there to help and work together to solve the issue.”
