Competition for labour is fierce and we strive to broaden the reccruitment base and increase diversity by recruiting more women, senior competence and employees with an international background. In this way, we promote our innovative power.
Since the beginning of 2023 we have conducted campaigns, both in Sweden and abroad, to increase awareness of LKAB and attract new employees. During the year we also participated for the first time in Europe’s largest emigration fair, Emigration Expo in the Netherlands. That intereset in LKAB has increased can be seen in, among other things, the fact that in 2023, for the first time, we entered the list of Sweden’s 100 most attractive employers for young talent in Academic Work’s annual survey.
While we work intensively to attract new talent, it is as important to take care of our existing employees, making sure that everyone has the opportunity to develop in step with the transformation. We strive for a culture where learning is seen as a natural part of daily work and work systematically with competence and career development.
