New system for entrance permit applications

In March 2026, LKAB will introduce a new system for applying for entrance permits to our operational areas. The aim is to create a more user-friendly, secure and traceable process. The system covers LKAB and its subsidiaries for entrance in Stockholm, Luleå, Kiruna, Malmberget and Svappavaara – both above and below ground. Narvik and applications via SSAB Vakt in Luleå are not included.

Make sure to register and onboard your company

In order to apply for access, your company must be registered in the new system. This will soon be the only way for external persons to gain access to LKAB’s areas.
