Minute of silence, Wednesday 1 August
In observance of the tragic casualty in Svappavaara, flags will be flown at half mast in all operating locations on Monday. Preparations are being made for a minute of silence.
On Sunday employees in Svappavaara observed a minute of silence in remembrance of their deceased colleague.
On Wednesday 1 August, between 9.10 and 9.11 a.m., a minute of silence will be observed in all operating locations. It is our mutual responsibility, in every operating location and in every workplace, to join together in honouring our deceased colleague. President and CEO Jan Moström will be in attendance in Svappavaara. Further information will be forthcoming.
Flags in Svappavaara, Kiruna and Malmberget and at the group head office in Luleå are flying at half mast until the end of the working day, 18.00 p.m., today, Monday.
