Your role
As a mine planning engineer with focus on mid term planning, you will develop and maintain mining sequences that form the foundation for future production planning. Working closely with operations, geologists and engineers, you will support safe, efficient and sustainable mining while contributing to the continuous improvement of planning processes.
You will:
- Develop and maintain mining sequences for medium and long-term planning.
- Coordinate and follow up rehabilitation activities together with operations.
- Analyze production and planning data to support decision-making.
- Prepare technical reports and planning documentation.
- Collaborate across disciplines to optimize mining plans and processes.
You will be part of a collaborative planning team with a direct impact on future production performance.
What you bring
You are structured, analytical and solution-oriented, with the ability to turn complex information into practical plans. You take ownership of your work, communicate effectively and enjoy collaborating with others to achieve shared goals.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience from underground mining operations.
- Experience working with Deswik.IS and Deswik.SCHED.
- Good understanding of underground mining methods and mining sequences.
- Experience with Power BI or similar data analysis tools.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- B driver’s license.
Meritorious
- Experience in underground rock mechanics.
- Knowledge of Swedish.
