Reinforcement for the climate

The Kiruna mine reduces carbon dioxide emissions by a staggering 60 tonnes per day. This is possible by replacing cement with GGBS – a slag product from steel production.

Gravel and ballast

We make use of rock, which is a by-product of LKAB’s mining. Both companies and individuals can buy crushed rock from us.

Concrete

All concrete used in LKAB’s mines comes from us. We also sell the same concrete to both private individuals and companies.

Rock work and mining

We offer services in rock reinforcement, tunnel driving, loading and drilling. We can also help you with rock and crusher contracts.

LKAB Berg & Betong is a wholly owned subsidiary of LKAB. We were founded as a family company in 1961 and are today the leading company in Norrbotten in gravel and concrete production, rock reinforcement, crushing and unloading. We are located in Kiruna, Malmberget and Svappavaara.
