Sofia Utsi appointed CEO of LKAB Berg & Betong

LKAB Berg & Betong has appointed Sofia Utsi as permanent CEO, effective from September 1, 2026. Sofia Utsi, who has previously served as Acting CEO, has extensive experience from the construction and civil engineering industry and has strong knowledge of the company and its operations.

Before taking on the role of Acting CEO in January 2026, Sofia Utsi served as Department Manager within LKAB Berg & Betong. She joined the company in 2023 following several senior positions at Skanska, including District Manager, Development Manager and Project Manager. Her experience in business leadership, operational development and production provides a strong foundation for leading the company’s continued growth and development.

LKAB Berg & Betong is a leading provider of sustainable, high-quality concrete production, rock excavation and crushing services in Norrbotten. The company also carries out quarry contracting projects across Sweden and plays an important role in developing sustainable and efficient solutions for the construction and civil engineering industry.
