Pierre Heeroma has been appointed Senior Vice President for Prospecting, Strategy and Business Development, LKAB. He will assume his new position on May 1, 2018.

“Pierre’s background is in geology. He has broad experience from the Swedish and international mining industries and he will head the group’s prospecting operations, strategy and business development, reporting directly to me,” continues Jan Moström.
Most recently, Pierre Heeroma served as Director Group Strategy & Business Development, Boliden.
“It will be very exciting to work with LKAB’s future challenges. Successful prospecting is the basis of all mining companies and the basis of our future strategy. I look forward to taking part in the process of lifting prospecting operations to a new level,” says Pierre Heeroma.
