LKAB publishes Annual and Sustainability Report for 2025
LKAB’s Annual and Sustainability Report presents the Group's development during 2025.
The report outlines the Group’s development over the past year and provides an overview of the events and external factors that have affected the development. It also describes the long‑term strategic direction and highlights the market conditions shaped by a continued uncertain global environment, with effects on both markets and supply chains.
“Geopolitical tensions and global turbulence have left clear marks on trade flows in 2025. Weakened market conditions, particularly in exchange rates and pellet premiums, have had a direct negative impact on our results. In an uncertain global environment, we have focused on strengthening our internal processes to improve stability in both production and delivery performance,” says Jan Moström, President and CEO LKAB.
The report presents LKAB’s work related to environmental and social impact, including efforts connected to the ongoing community developments in Gällivare and Kiruna.
“Our responsibility is great and clear: we must ensure that the communities and our operations develop together. This is not an investment in the traditional sense; rather, for us it is a prerequisite and an investment that enables us to continue our mining operations alongside a strong local community” says Jan Moström.
