Nominate for LKAB’s grants

Every year, we at LKAB celebrate promising talents, enthusiasts and associations that make our locations even better places to live and reside.

Since the 1980s, we have awarded grants in sports and culture every year to recognise associations and individuals who have excelled in their field. In addition to this, we’ve also added a grant for community engagement.

Through these grants, we’re looking to reward and promote our local talents and enthusiasts – those who really make a difference in our communities. We are looking for those who add color to our communities with all the nuances of culture, introduce new activities and make life both more fun and richer for all of us. We want to pay tribute to the role models and spreaders of joy who create positive energy; committed associations that, alone and together with others, build something sustainable and vibrant.

Grant criteria

The grants are worth SEK 75,000 and are awarded every spring.

Sports: Goes to an association or person who has excelled or done valuable deeds in sports, preferably a young promising talent.

Culture: Goes to an association that has excelled or done valuable work in culture, preferably a young promising talent.

Community engagement: Goes to an association or individual that contribute to making life at our locations a little more enjoyable.
