Magnus Karlsson appointed as new CFO at LKAB
LKAB has appointed Magnus Karlsson as its new Chief Financial Officer and member of the Group Management Team, with the appointment taking effect in the third quarter of 2025.

We look forward to welcoming Magnus Karlsson as CFO, where his extensive experience from various financial leadership roles at Scania and international positions will be a valuable addition to the management team”, says Jan Moström, President and CEO of LKAB.
Magnus Karlsson most recently held the position of CFO Commercial Operations at Scania and will assume his new role in the third quarter 2025. Prior to that, he held several financial leadership positions in areas such as controlling, treasury, and accounting. Magnus Karlsson will replace interim CFO Peter Hansson, who will leave the Group Management Team and take on other assignments within LKAB.
